a wedding guest book.

 

this is my wedding guest book. ya ya. saya tahu, takdelah cantik sangat, tapi takpe. i still feel it's very special, since me myself yang buat sendiri. hehehe

last minute "signage" :) also done by me. sayang tak letak pen or marker yang cantik-cantik. -.-

yes. it sounds so simple. but believe me. sangat-sangat rugi kalau anda takde this one thing for your wedding.

why?

sebab. pada hari majlis anda, percayalah. anda akan menjadi insan yang paling sibuk, famous, dan tak tentu arah. (and of course orang paling cantik sekali pada hari itu) kenapa? sebab nya.. you are the centre of the attention on that day. and of course. semua tetamu yang hadir, pasti nak jumpa you and hubby, to say congratulations and say "cheese~~~" with you. and obviously, you will not remember each and everyone that came. especially those who are not able to see you and your hubby in person. or maybe because of the hectic "aturcara majlis" (bersanding, makan beradap, potong-potong kek etc), outdoor photoshoot  and etc.

jadi dengan adanya guestbook ni, insyallah, we can trace back those who came, and the best part is, the wedding wishes and doa they wrote for us in the book. believe me. it was the best feeling ever. knowing that lots of people are happy for your wedding, and did pray for our happiness. :)

i did realize this when i started to pack things up for our new home this week. kemas kemas stor, terjumpa balik satu tupperware penuh dengan card hadiah kawen dulu. so, datang idea untuk lekat semua card yang ada tu dalam wedding guest book yang dah sedia ada ni. plus, ada banyak lagi page kosong. yelah, takkan nak buang kan??

jadi, to all bride to be out there, sila lah adakan ruangan wedding guest book ini untuk tetamu anda. tak salah rasanya kalau buat, selain dapat menimbulkan kelainan (sebab banyak style sekarang ni, google je for more interesting ideas) buku ni dapat juga menambahkan lagi koleksi kenangan untuk majlis perkahwinan anda. (selain gambar dan video) yang mana pasti anda tanak lupakan sampai bila-bila, kan?

they did came on time, they were sporting and dedicated during the photoshoot (during the event or outdoor) and paling penting, very friendly with their customer. senang nak berurusan dan sangat bersemangat utk ambil gambar. sampai lagi excited dari pengantin. hehe. clearly shows they were so passionate about photography and most importantly, they were sincere. :) and one more thing, they treated my best friends really well too, layan aje ke"sengal"an kami during the 1st outdoor photoshoot.  

khairun najmi and khairol anuar were the photographers, and khairol and his wife, kak neena were so friendly with us and always keep us updated with their progress, from time to time.

owh, i cant wait to see the final output. our two custom album. :)

so my friends out there. i recommend u to take them as your official wedding photog too.. insyallah u wont be regret. just like what i and hubby did. we were very happy and satisfied with them.

things that a bride to be should do..

okay. its almost a month since i've been a Puan. :) what a wonderful life i can say. :)

just a few things that i want to share with all bride to be out there. so that you wont be as regretful as i am. huhu. u know, the feelings where "owh i should have did that, i should have check first.." bla bla bla..

so girls, this is the list of things that u should do for your wedding.. well, this is from my own experience. :)

1. dont think those who appear in the magazine (majalah pengantin, ratu sehari etc), will deliver you a superb and excellence service. please do check with others first on how their service are... huhu. believe me. sometimes, first expression is contradict in  showing u what their service really are.. however not all are like this, but it would be better if u check first... to make sure every cent spent is worth.

2. please brief all of your close families, to be extra careful during the walimah. since there will be uninvited guest who will keep their eyes fix on things which are valuable, such as duit hantaran, brg2 hantaran, and also your "duit hadiah" which people seldom give esp if they did not bring any presents :) for my case, i did lost almost 2k of that duit hadiah.. huhu. so be careful people especially when you're in USJ or in Putra Heights since the cases are higher there, currently lah.. huhu..

3. please test your make up before your big day, so u wont end up "crying".

4. please choose and wear a wedding outfit that will make u feel comfortable and beautiful. not awkward and hideous. huhu

5. if possible, please do your akad and reception on a different day. believe me, i did my akad and reception on the same day, end up nya? kelam kabut and i dont have enough time to enjoy and take pictures with all who been there... huhu. -nyesal-nyesal-

6. communication is very important. please communicate well with your mak andam and those who are responsible in making your big day a success or the other way around. this is to avoid miscom and at the end, gaduh gaduh and gaduh.. huhu

that's all for now, ehehe, if i do remember something else, i do the adding later. :P

as a conclusion, a wedding should be beautiful. :) and insyallah will be held once in our life. thus, please please please plan and prepare carefully. those who has an ample time to prepare, please make use of that. plan and plan, and do a lot of survey and asking, so that you will be happy and dont feel any regret at the end.

my wedding DIY project and..

weekend ini. saya ada banyak benda yang nak buat dan perlu dibuat. -.-

antaranya ialah. DIY Project 1 saya. iaitu Buku tetamu ~ buku untuk kamu kamu semua yang akan datang di majlis walimah ku pada 11.12.2010 ini, buku ni adalah untuk kamu kamu semua drop wishes and doa for us. :)

dan alhamdulillah. 1st cut dah siap. maybe nak kena touch up siket2 lagi. biar nampak lagi cantik. dan of course. tahan lasak. kang orang rebut nak sign-sign, koyak plak. huhu naya. owh bajet ramai je orang nak tulis sampai nak kena rebut-rebut kan? :P

mula-mula memang plan nak tempah je dari kedai. tapi memikirkan ongkos dan masa yang kureng ada untuk saya yang bekerja di Kerteh ini.. jadi saya telah mengambil keputusan untuk buat sendiri buku tetamu ini.. do it yourself je lah`~

shopping-shopping di Popular Book Store, Mesra Mall, pilih itu pilih ini. bayang ini bayang itu. dan inilah hasilnya~

what do u think? cantik tak? cantik tak? for me, dah cantik dah ni. haha [masuk bakul angkat sendiri tak sah] apa apa pun, saya sangat berpuas hati. biarpun tak siap lagi sepenuhnya, saya tetap suka. dan yes, ada benda lagi nak kena buat ni, dah kata 1st cut kan. actually wording tu takde lg. ni edit2 guna Picnik.com je. hehe

the overall cost spent? not more than RM30 tau. [clap clap]

now i just have to find ways to make the cover to be more tougher. sebab saya hanya guna crepe paper which is so lembik yang amat. maybe will need to paste it on a hard cover paper at the back. hm. tengok la macam mana.

ok. can stop for a while for my 1st DIY project. jom proceed to other task; wedding guest list.

kak ateen ni dah response. so far harga boleh tahan. affordable lah. pending kejap sebab saya kena ukur saiz dulang hantaran daku dulu. sebab nak tahu berapa biji mini cakes or cake tu boleh muat. mini cakes ni dalam 3". hm. if leh muat 7 macam kat dalam picture ni cantik nya. tp my dulang is petak. how ek? hm. itu nanti fikir. :D

so, kena tunggu satu lg response lah.. then i will decide which cake i want to take. :) rasa macam nak amek dua jenis cake plak. satu dulang untuk cake satu lagi untuk mini cakes. what do u think? macam okay je kan? sebab if satu dulang untuk sirih junjung ni di ganti dengan cake macam lagi ok. at least my beloved tunang can give their families to eat. sirih mana leh makan. haha bazir je. hm. will consider this too. :)

saya berniat besar untuk menjual veil tunang saya yang cantik ini. [ isk isk sedih sebenarnya nak melepaskan beliau, banyak kenangan indah tercipta saat memakainya dulu. :P ]

post pertama mengenai perkahwinan

ye. as the title goes. this is going to be my first post on my wedding preparation. insyallah, my wedding will be somewhere in December 2010. what? cepatnya~! well, betul la tu apa orang cakap pasal jodoh kan, kita tak boleh nak jangka bila, dengan siapa, dan di mana dia akan datang. for those who already knew, save the dates ya? and for those who still don't have a clue, sila lah kira my daisy path widget kat bahagian paling bawah blog ni. hehe. actually i am waiting at least 2 months before the wedding so that i can invite all of you formally. and of course after the wedding cards are done. :) to be exact, its only 3 months, 3 weeks and 1 day before our big day. aish. biar betul syaima'? banyak nye lagi tak prepare~! checklist i ciput aje yang DONE. ngaa. cuak nya. just hoping everything will turn out to be okay. ameen.

for those yang tahu, this has been one of the most difficult decision for me to make. ye lah, because of that dunno-what-to-label policy.huhu insyallah, dengan sehabis yakin, i am sure 100% this is the best for me. i hope everyone can respect my decision. insyallah, there will be more better opportunities which i believe will make my life happier, here and hereafter. doakan saya ye rakan-rakan. mungkin ramai yang akan berkata-kata. tapi takpe lah. at the end, its still me who are going to endure and live with it. not you. well, memang susah pun nak buat semua orang puas hati. kan? plus, one thing that affected me to make this big decision is, i have realized the real meaning and task of a woman in this world. cheh~ it just that i am hoping, i can still make my parents happy.. -kuatkan semangat-

okay, enough of sedih-sedih.

currently, i have a new hobby. hobby yang sangat seronot~ :D reading B2B's blogs. for those yang tak taw. B2B itu adalah bride to be. so interesting. so many fresh ideas. so many tips and pantang larang. hehe. dan ada jugak la yang idea yang maybe i nak buat for my wedding. just tak tahu sempat ke tidak nak buat or umi akan bagi lampu hijau atau pun tidak untuk itu. so far, idea kapur dan door hanger itu sangat menarik. what do you guys think on this? hehe

as for now, i would like to give my highest appreciation to umi and abah for "ubah suai" kan my future bilik pengantin. i love it`! white and purple = sweet. u can refer to samira's blog for pictures of it. i am actually will be using her room. [bcause her room size is bigger than mine :P] and samira keep on bebel, saying that "urgh noooo. 1st night korang kat bilik ya??" haha. diam. :P happy juga sebab the room's theme will be match dengan tema pelamin saya. sweet pink + purple lavender + white. 

my hantaran is almost completed i guess. special thanks to ayu and D for the perfume, wallet and belt. jauh tu diorg tolong belikan. set pakaian pun dah beli. we shop2 together at kuantan last 2 weeks [kot?]. coklat che ni nak sponsor. buah-buahan sukama plak nak sponsor. lebihan dulang yang lain semuanya makanan. ni en bakal suami yang request, so that he can give some to his families. just one more dulang. samada nak beli kasut atau pun cincin. hm..ada sape-sape nak sponsor ke? ngee

lastly, what i can conclude here is

1. buat kerja kahwin itu seronot even though stress

2. internet sangat berguna dalam memberi anda info dan idea menarik
